Reet - The Passionate Contributor

Here is a girl with a lot of ideas... but who found the process of writing to be a mood-damper.

The ideas seemed to churn out more easily when she worked in groups...

...and she found a rather profound voice in her final piece:

The Work:

My Two Worlds. By Reet B.
Village, city, rich country, typycal life of CITY, VILAGE etc. different types of lifestyles. I live and have grown up in a city. It is a nice, comfortable pampered life here. Same with living in a rich country. We waste our money on outings, nice expensive colourful (most important) - useless toys, clothes and other luxuries to make our lives nice and happy. Does anybody living in the city or rich country realize that the poor people of the village who also have the talent we have get no chance to show it to the world? Noooo...! They have to keep it folded and bent inside their hearts and full day working, non-stop body! The money we use for our day to day luxuries can be used by almost all villages in India, for them to show their talent, to make their lives a little softer from most rough, and to stop some of the red they get from their hard-work. Even if we (city, country people) stay in the blazing, harsh and heavy sunlight of the sun for 2 hours I wonder how many fairness creams and powders to avoid sunburn and bla bla bla we put. And those poor people who work in the same (or even hotter) sun for almost 18 hours might be getting so tired. But do they have these creams and powders to protect themselves? NOT AT ALL! Let's go to transport. To go from Andheri to Churchgate we go in local trains an A/C buses. They go from village to village (almost Mumbai to Thane) walking just for 3 pots of water? Poor people. Don't you think we ought to think about them? I as a writer have thought about them, and its your turn now. Go on, bring a change in their lives for a better world. Thank you!

Cap, shoes, etc. - luxuries of city, country, people.
Potter, young boy etc. - village, talent.
Plane, clouds etc. - transport.
Man, woman in long robes - typical city life.
